602 CRATE

602 CRATE

Here is a brief overview of what we can do to get an extra 35hp out of your crate.

A Standard Race Freshen and Undercover Porting to your 602 Cylinder Heads Includes...

- Pressed in studs are pulled, threads are tapped, and a shallow counterbore is machined for a "shoulder-less" screw in stud

- Valve guide sizing to guarantee adequate clearance is achieved. Often, they are a bit tight from GM.

- A Performance Flow Bench Developed Raised Seat Valve Job.

- Hand Chamber Blending

- Chamber volume is measured, and heads are surfaced to 63 CC's (or less if you so desire)

- Heads are deburred, valve seats finish touched with a stone, and guides are finish touched with a light diamond hone before final cleaning.

- Look-a-Like springs with 25lbs. more open pressure that will last, look-a-like tool steel retainers that won't break, as well as machined valve locks with a bit shorter installed height and screw in studs are installed. Standard pricing includes brand new GM valves and seals.

- $2318 plus shipping

- The cost is $2118 if you prefer to leave the pressed in studs

- Brand new GM Castings are ready to ship with the above work completed for a cost of $3196

- Crate Master Camshafts cost $525 (no lifters)
